Blogging. Everyone is doing it. From kids to multi--national
companies to entertainers and athletes. Blogging is
the newest way to express yourself. How does that
help you as a business person?
As an
example, say you have come up with a
new product line and want to introduce
it to your customer base. But printing
costs are sky-rocketing and hiring a
company to do the job for you can be a
hit or miss proposition. Do you really
want to trust your newest venture to
someone else?
The
solution is to create a Blog! You can
point people to your blog where you can
introduce the product, give its
features, show a picture or video of it
in action, and take orders. All from
the same place!
But
you ask, "I can do the same thing on my
website." True, you can do it from your
website. But the great thing about a
blog is that you can post to it at
anytime. You don't need to hire a
webmaster every time you want to change
it. You can offer discounts that only
come out on your blog forcing customers
to come back often. After a while, you
will be the person they go to for help
because you will continually show your
knowledge on whatever your business
entails. And you can also make money
from your blog using Google Adsense and
other advertising methods. So your blog
can be another revenue
stream!
